Crockleford Heath is the only established community within the proposed Garden Community area. As such it should be protected. This modification can lead to the cutting of Crockleford Heath into two part, one with vehicular access to Bromley Road and one with vehicular access to the link road. This is disrespectful of Crockleford Heath residents and not in the spirit of respecting existing communities as laid down in the original garden community principles.
The plan should respect the area of Crockleford Heath as recognised by the residents of Crockleford Heath and not separate it by access decisions that pander to the request of the developer.

Crockleford Heath, in the original DP, was to be developed in Phase 3. It does not benefit the residents of Crockleford Heath to bring this forward to either phase 1 or 2.
The DP should state clearly that Crockleford Heath will not be developed until Phase 3.
