Legally compliant? No
Sound? No
Duty to co-operate? Yes
I object to the Garden Community being situated as an expansion of Colchester City and too close to existing towns.
I object to the use of land between A133 and Wivenhoe which will cause light pollution.
I object to any reduction of vehicle lanes and green areas on the A133 for the Rapid Transport System.
I object to the 1st phase of building not including the link road between the A133 and the A120.
I object to the overstretched facilities in Wivenhoe being used by garden community residents if their new facilities have yet to be built.
1. Curb the expansion of the University. Surely in the future there will be less residential and more online learning.
2. Protect the green buffers between communities.
3. Re-route the Rapid Transport System across the A133 at the Knowledge Gateway junction and on to the existing bus routes and the Hythe Railway Station.
4. Build the link road between the A133 and the A120 in the 1st phase of building the Garden Community.
5. New facilities must be built in the 1st phase of building the Garden Community.
I object to the site of the Garden Community so close to existing neighbourhoods.
I object to reduction of trees and use of land by the University south of the A133 because there will be no reasonable buffer between the garden community and Wivenhoe. Wivenhoe already suffers from light pollution from the University expansions.
I object to the reduction of vehicle lanes, green verges and green tree central reservation on the A133 to make room for the Rapid Transport System. The A133 approach to Colchester is blocked with traffic in rush hours morning and evening. There is no mention of the park and ride for ALL traffic on the A133. The park and choose is the wrong side of the A133 for All traffic approaching Colchester.
I object to no guarantee that the link road between the A133 and the A120 will be built during the 1st phase of building of the Garden Community. There is already I need for a link road for travellers beyond Colchester.
I object to Garden Community residents using the overstretched facilities in Wivenhoe. Of the chemist and doctors and train station and parking in Wivenhoe if facilities in the Garden Community are yet to be built.
